Here is what they had to say:
Hello dear readers!
First of all, thank you, Lauren, for having me. I am honored to be a part of this blog for a post.
Halloween is upon us, and what is more Halloween then…a really good myth?

Let me tell you about my favorite one, a myth I pretty much grew up with: The Lost City of Atlantis.
If one is to believe this myth, Atlantis was one of the most powerful kingdoms in the world when it existed. The name comes from Plato, who writes in one of his works about the mighty kingdom.
Many scientists think that Plato came up with this sunken kingdom only to strengthen and prove some of his theories. Others do not agree.
Some even thinks the city has survivors who helped with the pyramids in Egypt and the statues on Easter Island.
They refer to the eruption of a volcano that wiped out a whole island. A volcano named
Thera. If one is to look at the text written by Plato, he places Atlantis' destruction at the same time that the volcano erupted.
So, what is one to believe about this massive kingdom? Is it really just a myth or is it something so much more?

If you're interested about learning more, I found this article that talks more about Altantis. I personally, didn't know about Atlantis apart from that it was named after a demigod and had been lost to the sea.
